HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner

Cannabis NB is seeking an experienced people focused HR Business Partner to support our retail leadership Teams. This role will partner closely with our CNB Store Managers across the province providing strategic HR guidance in employee relation matters, policy compliance, driving HR initiatives, and fostering a positive engaged work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Align HR initiatives with business objectives and retail operational needs

· Maintain reports related to HR metrics and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities

· Lead and support investigations, discipline, and performance management processes

· Coach leaders through difficult conversations, terminations and conflict resolutions

· Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies across the province

· Promote a respectful, positive, and inclusive workplace culture

· Support engagement initiatives and change management efforts across stores

· Administer emails & paperwork for any employee store transfers, and position changes

· Respond to team members HR inquiries

· Ensure proper performance management documentation administered and filed

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field,

· 3-5 years of proven experience in HR roles, with a focus in employee relations

· Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

· Advanced MS Office Skills

· Knowledge of general HR policies and best practices

· Fluent in both official languages (French and English) is preferred

Working Conditions

· Must be 19 years of age or older

· Must be living in New Brunswick at time of employment

· Must have an office space & high-speed internet to work remotely from home

· Occasional travel to various locations throughout New Brunswick when needed (store visits, conferences, etc.)
